I had always enjoyed healthy skin until I reached my early 30s, when I noticed I started to develop some fine lines and my skin had become dehydrated. I put off addressing my skin problems until my mid 30s, when I found the effects of aging had progressed to where I could no longer wear make up without a moisturizer. Powders started to crease around the lines on my face and my skin began to seem dull. The wrinkles around my eyes, mouth and forehead became more noticeable. My skin felt less firm and began to look blotchy and discolored. My skin no longer radiated the healthy glow of my youth.
Determined to do what I could to restore my skin’s health, I improved my diet and liquid intake and began to take vitamin supplements. However, my skin still lacked the vitality and luster I once enjoyed. What’s more, the moisturizers I tried felt waxy and irritated my sensitive skin. I began a search to find a better moisturizer, including a number of well-respected and very expensive skin care lines, but my search proved fruitless.
My search grew into a crusade to gain more knowledge about skin care from reputable sources and the latest clinical studies available. My research brought me to a leading chemist in the field of skin care, biology and research. I discussed with him what I was looking for — a skin care line designed to strengthen, heal and nourish the skin for those of us with sensitive skin. We reviewed all the products on the market, but found that their ingredients made them either too mild to achieve the results I was looking for or too harsh for those of us with sensitive skin. Together, we set out to develop a line that had just the precise combination and concentration of ingredients to restore the skin’s vitality while taking advantage of new scientific breakthroughs that protect sensitive skin from irritation. To make a long story short, three years of development and testing later, we had achieved that goal.
